High quality salvaged engineered flooring

Today we’re showing off some examples of our new engineered flooring!

Engineered Hardwood Flooring - Duluth Timber Company

Our flooring is made out of Douglas Fir timbers that have been salvaged from deconstruction sites across the country. It’s then cleaned up, cut into 1/4 inch veneers and attached to the top of a 9 ply Russian birch. After that the flooring is molded to a tongue and groove for convenient installing. The last step is applying an oil to give the wood a nice shine and to bring out the color of the historic Douglas Fir.

Engineered Hardwood Flooring - Duluth Timber Company

Our engineered flooring is an artisan flooring created by people who care. By cutting the wood into 1/4 inch ply’s you get the same quality and character from the wood while tripling the usefulness of the resource compared to making solid hardwood flooring out of it.
